6.

SYMPTOM: THE WATER DOES NOT HEAT

a. The heater is attached to the pump in the spa

jet unit. If the pump is operating, the water
should heat. Cover the RENEW 900 with the
spa cover. The spa cover must be tight. Set

the air control to low. The water will heat at a
rate of 1.7°F an hour. If you are using the spa
indoors, and the room temperature is main-
tained at 70°F, it will take approximately 20 to
28 hours for the water to reach the set temper-
ature.

b. If you are using the RENEW 900 outdoors, it

may take longer for the water to heat. See the
chart below for the approximate heating time.

Air Temperature

Heating Time

20 to 28 hours

50°F–70°F

If the water still has not heated after three
days, contact our customer service department.

7.

THERE IS MINIMUM WATER FLOW

a. Adjust the water level. This usually occurs only

when the water level is low. Add water until the
filter and jets are covered.

pump circulation system. Check to see if the
primer cap is fully tightened. Prime the pump
again and fully tighten the primer cap (see
PRIMING THE SPA JETUNITon page 10).
