A.
Maintenance
This
chapter
provides
information
on
projector
maintenance.
Cleaning
the
lens
To
clean
the
lens,
complete
the
following
procedure:
1.
Apply
a
non-abrasive
camera
lens
cleaner
to
a
soft,
dry
cloth.
Note:
Avoid
using
an
excessive
amount
of
cleaner,
and
do
not
apply
the
cleaner
directly
to
the
lens.
Abrasive
cleaners,
solvents
or
other
harsh
chemicals
might
scratch
the
lens.
2.
Lightly
wipe
the
cleaning
cloth
over
the
lens
in
a
circular
motion.
If
you
do
not
intend
to
use
the
projector
immediately,
replace
the
lens
cap.
Replacing
the
projector
lamp
The
projector
lamp
should
only
be
replaced
with
an
IBM
certified
replacement
part,
which
you
can
order
from
your
business
partner
or
go
to
www.ibm.com/pc.
To
replace
the
projector
lamp,
complete
the
following
procedure:
1.
Turn
off
the
projector,
unplug
the
power
cord,
and
allow
the
projector
to
cool
for
at
least
1
hour.
2.
Use
a
Phillips-head
screwdriver
to
remove
the
screw
from
the
lamp
compartment
cover
as
shown
in
2 .
3.
Remove
the
lamp
compartment
cover
as
shown
in
3 .
4.
Remove
the
two
screws
from
the
lamp
module
as
shown
in
4 .
