Slow Motion

During still picture, press 3 or 5.

● The speed changes for each direction by pressing 3 or

5repeatedly.

● To resume normal playback, press 4.

Resume Function

It is possible to memorize the position where you stop playback
and resume playback from that position.

● Be sure to set “RESUME” to “ON”. (

Memorize the resume point.

Press 8.

● The unit enters Resume Stop mode and memorise the position

where you stop playback as the resume point.

● “rESUM” appears on the front display panel.

● To clear the resume point:

• Press 1 to turn off the unit.
• Eject the disc.
• Press 8 in stop mode.
• Set “RESUME” to “OFF”. (

Resume playback.

Press 4. The unit start playback from the resume point.

● “rESUM” appears on the front display panel.

Strobe Playback
— To display continuous still pictures

During playback, press and
hold 9 for more than 2
seconds at the point you
want to view as continuous
photographs.

● 9 continuous still pictures

appear on the TV screen.

● While the 9 still pictures are

shown, pressing 9 will pause the Strobe playback. After
pausing, each time you press 9, the still picture advances
frame-by-frame.

● Pressing 4 while the 9 still pictures are shown will advance

pictures in normal playback speed.

● To return to normal playback, press and 9 for more than

2 seconds.

NOTES:

● During the operation above, audio is not played back.

● When playing back NTSC discs, the 9 still pictures may appear

vertically distorted, or a stripe may appear at the bottom of the
screen. This is not a malfunction.

Subtitle Selection

You can select subtitle language.

Access the selection menu.

Select the subtitle language.

Press w e to select your desired subtitle language, then
press OK.

● Each time you press SUB TITLE, the subtitle display is switch to

on and off.

● Each time you press w e, the subtitle language changes.

● The selection menu disappears automatically if you do not

change the selection for 5 seconds.

NOTE:

When “X” appears on the TV screen in step 1, subtitle language
is not recorded.

Press SUB TITLE during
playback.
