Basic operations
Operations with the home menu
 Home menu
The home menu is the basic user interface of this system to select a function, to access
the “Settings” menu, and to allow you to use the system as a calendar or a clock. The
system turns on with this home screen. However, you can display the home menu at any
time by pressing HOME button.
 Functions
 Settings: See below.
 Calendar/Clock: Displays a
calendar or a clock. See “Using
the calendar and clock functions”
(page 81).

 ///: Moves the focus to an item.
 ENTER: Enters the focused item to use
the function.
 Settings menu
The “Settings” menu is composed of 4 pages and you can set various system settings.
<Basic operations>
 /: Advances a page to next or
previous page.
 ENTER: Enters the highlight to select
the menu.
  RETURN: Cancels the current
operation.
* “AM Step change” is not displayed on
European and Saudi Arabian models.
