grammed temperature has been reached.

Straightening hair

Prepare the hair as described in "Before
straightening".

Start with the lower hair sections at the back of
the head. Work over the sides to the front.

Separate a ca. 2 cm wide hair strand.

Attention!

Ensure that the hotplates

do not make contact

with the skin of the head. Risk of Burns!
Ensure that when squeezing the hotplates

to-

gether you do not touch the front part of the appli-
ance (hotplates

2

/ housing / top front). When it is

in use, you may only hold the appliance by the
handle! Risk of burns!

Clamp the hair strands between the hotplates

and close to the skin, then press them together.

3.

Pull the whole of the hair strand through the hot-
plates

, in that you pull the hair straightener

downwards.

4.

Repeat the process with each individual strand.

5.

When all strands have been smoothed, slide
the On/Off switch

to the position 0. The

control lamp

goes out.

6.

Remove the plug from the mains power socket.

Press the hotplates

together and slide the

locking device

to the position

.

Cleaning

Attention!

Remove the power plug from the wall socket.
Risk of electric shock!
Always allow the appliance to cool down completely
before cleaning it. Risk of Burns!

Wipe the housing and the hotplates

2

with

a soft and slightly moistened cloth.

In cases of stubborn soiling, apply some mild
detergent to the moistened cloth.

Note:

Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning
agents. These could attack the upper surfaces
and irreparably damage the appliance.

Note:

Do not use the appliance again until it has
completely dried out.

Storage

Attention!

NEVER wrap the power cable with the plug around
the appliance. This would cause irreparable damage
to the appliance.

Attention!

To avoid an unintentional switch on of the applian-
ce, ALWAYS remove the plug from the mains power
socket if the appliance is not in use.

When the appliance is cooling down, always
place it on a heat-resistant surface or hang the
appliance up by the suspension loop

Store the hair straightener at a clean and dry
location.
