4. GAME MODE
The Game mode allows you to keep score
during a round of golf. You can also keep
score of your opponent's game. Your Suunto
G3 displays the leader at all stages of game
and stores up to 5 of your favorite opponents
in its memory.
The Game mode also allows you to register
statistical data like fairway hits and greens in
regulations or penalties of your own game so
that you can later view your playing history.
4.1. USING YOUR SUUNTO G3 DURING GAME
The following sections explain how to use the unit during your round.
4.1.1. Selecting the game type and course
1. Select a game type: Scratch, Strokeplay, Stableford or Match. (The default is
Strokeplay.) You can change the game type in the Memory mode.
2. Select a course if you are playing any other game type than Scratch (see section
5.2.2. Activating the course). If you do not have the course set up, see section
5.2.1. Creating a course.
