Step 7: Connecting the
Mains Leads
If you are connecting additional devices, go to
“Connecting the Recorder to Other Equipment”
(page 29) first.
After completing all of the hookups, connect the
supplied mains lead to the AC IN terminal of the
recorder, and then plug the recorder, subwoofer,
and TV mains leads into the mains.

Before operating, you must wait a short while
until the front panel display lights up and the
recorder has entered standby mode. You can
then start setting up the system – go to “Step 8:
Easy Setup” (page 34).
To turn the system on and off
Press [/1.
When you turn off the system, the system enters
standby mode and the ON/STANDBY indicator
on the subwoofer lights up in red.
Note
After the subwoofer’s mains lead is disconnected, the
ON/STANDBY indicator may remain lit red for a while.
