Quick Reference for Remote Commander

Note
The remote control of the unit employs
command signals in common with other
Sony DVD products.
Thus, depending on the button, other Sony
DVD products may respond.

A Turns the Sony TV and the

system on and changes the
TV’s input source.

B Sets the system to turn off at a

preset time.

C Selects AM or FM band.
D Mutes the sound.
E Press to store a preset station.
F Selects program or shuffle play

mode.

G Displays the repeat status.
H Switches monaural or stereo of

FM stereo reception.

I Switches the TV’s input source

between the TV and SYSTEM.
Sets the remote to TV mode.
Normal mode: turns off.
TV mode: turns red.

J Changes the sound while

playing a DVD or VIDEO CD.

K Changes the angles when

playing a DVD.

L Displays the ”SUBTITLE“

menu in the Control Menu
display.

preset stations.

N Plays a disc.
O Pauses playing a disc.
P Displays the title menu on the

TV screen.

R Displays the Control Menu

S Selects the TV Channel.
T Adjusts the TV volume.
U Turns the TV on and off.
V Turns on and off the power of

W Ejects a disc.
X Bass sound is effectively

Y Selects the sound field.

m/M (SCAN) : Locate a
point while monitoring the

slow motion in the pause mode.
TUNING –/+ : Scan all
available radio stations.

* Depending on the TV manufacturer,

the following method may also work.
Press >10, then the number. (For
example, for channel 25, press >10,
then 2 and 5.)
