Take the picture.
<Shooting without using the LCD monitor>

Press the focus button.
œ The LCD monitor turns on briefly to show the currently set focus
mode.

Press the focus button within 5 seconds to set the desired focus
mode.
HINT
œ The shortest distance for macro photography is 10 cm if [W] (Wide) on the
zoom switch is pressed, and 40 cm if [T] (Tele) is pressed.
œ In the manual focus mode, the shortest distance for taking pictures is 10
cm when [W] (Wide) on the zoom switch is pressed until it stops (wide
angle), and 40 cm when [T] (Tele) is pressed until it stops (telephoto).
œ The focus distance indication shows the distance between the lens surface
and the subject.
œ The focus distance indication shows the distance between the lens surface
and the subject, but in some cases there may be a slight variance from the
actual distance.
œ When shooting a close-up subject with the manual focus or macro
photography, use the LCD monitor to confirm the focus and compose the
photo.
