Downloading Applications or Games
To access Microsoft’s Marketplace and download applications and
games:
1. From the Home screen, tap Marketplace .
The main applications screen displays.
2. Sweep across the screen to the right or left to view the
applications menu, top applications, new applications, or
featured applications. Touch an item to display more
information.
To view applications in a specific category, from the
applications menu touch all, Samsung Zone, games,
entertainment, music & video, photo, lifestyle, news &
weather, sports, health & fitness, finance, travel,
navigation, social, productivity, tools, business, or books &
reference. Depending on the category, the applications
available may be displayed on several screens, such as:
top, new, free, and categories. Sweep across the screen to
the right or left to view the various options.
3. Touch an item to display more information.
An application information screen displays that contains an
expanded description, screenshots, reviews (if available),
and a related programs list.
4. Touch try (if a trial version is available), buy (if there is a cost
for the application), install (if the application is free), or share
to send someone a message or email containing a link to
the application.
The Confirm purchase screen displays. If payment is
required, the purchase is charged to your mobile phone
account or you can touch Change payment method.
5. Touch buy or install to continue, cancel to stop.
6. Press to exit.
Messaging
The Messaging feature allows you to send text messages and
multimedia messages to other phones and email addresses. For
more information, refer to “Creating and Sending Text Messages”
on page 55.
