Finding Contacts List Entries
There are several ways to display your Contacts entries: by
name, by speed dial number, by 10-4 list, and by voice dial
numbers. Follow the steps outlined in the sections below to
display entries from the Contacts list menu.
Finding Names
To find Contacts list entries by name:
1. Press to access the main menu.
2. Highlight Contacts and press .
3. Highlight Find/Add Entry and press .
ᮣ Press the navigation key right for a shortcut of steps 1 through 3.
4. Enter the first letter of the person’s first name, last name,
or part of the name, then scroll to select the desired entry.
5. To display the entry’s details, select your desired entry and
press .
To find 10-4 List entries:
1. From standby mode, press the navigation key right to display
your Contacts list.
2. Press (left softkey). Highlight your desired 10-4 list and
press .
ᮣ Phone Book to display the Contacts list.
ᮣ Company List to display the Company List.
ᮣ Company Grps. to display the Company Group List.
ᮣ Personal List to display the Personal List.
ᮣ Personal Grps. to display the Personal Group List.
3. Scroll through the list and press to select your desired
entry.
Note: The (left softkey) option does not appear when 10-4 mode is
set to Disable (see “Setting 10-4 Mode” on page 92).
