PRODUCT FEATURES
Measurement in 1 second
This innovative technology allows measurement of ear temperature in only 1 second.
The thermometer then converts this reading to the familiar oral reading equivalent.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Never use the thermometer for purposes other than body temperature measurement. Please follow the safety precau-
tions when using on children.
• Never immerse the ear thermometer in water or other liquids (not waterproof). For cleaning and disinfecting please
follow the instructions in the “Cleaning and Storage” section.
• Keep the instrument away from direct exposure to the sun and keep it in a dust-free, dry area at a temperature between
50°F - 104°F. (10°C- 40°C).
• Do not use the thermometer if there are signs of damage on the probe tip or on the instrument itself. If damaged,
do not attempt to repair the thermometer! Please contact Summer Infant’s Consumer Relations Department.
• Earwax in the ear canal may cause a lower temperature reading. Make sure child’s ear canal is clean to ensure an
accurate reading.
• The ear thermometer consists of high quality precision parts. Do not drop the instrument. Protect it from severe
impact and shock.

• Please keep the adult adapter out of the reach of
children. It may pose a choking hazard.
• Use of this thermometer is not intended as a
substitute for consultation with your physician.
• This thermometer is not waterproof! NEVER
immerse into liquids!

peratura medida es menor de
32.0 ˚C u 89.6 ˚F. Emite tres
pitidos cortos y se enciende el
indicador LED rojo durante 5
segundos.
Muestra “H” junto con “▲”
cuando la temperatura ambi-
ente es mayor de
40.0 ˚C o 104.0 ˚F. Emite tres
