- The following example used Windows XP. If you use Windows 2000, the screens will be different.
- To configure the PRICOM, you must be Administrator.
1. Click start - Control Panel - Printers
and Faxes - Add a printer to start the
wizard to add a printer. Then click
Next
.
- If you use Windows 2000, Click Start
- Settings - Control Panel - Printers .
Then click the Add Printer icon.
2. Select
Local printer attached to this
computer
. Be sure to remove a check
mark from the
Automatically detect
and install my Plug and Play printer
.
Click Next .
- If you use the Windows 2000, select
Local Printer . And be sure to remove
a check mark from the Automatically
detect and install my Plug and Play
printer
.
3. Check the
Create a new port
, and
select Standard TCP/IP Port . Click
Next .
Print using the Windows 2000, Windows XP Standard TCP/IP port
