Installing PS Drivers
PPDs, in combination with the PostScript driver, access the
printer features and allow the computer to communicate with
the printer. An installation programme for the PPDs is provided
on the supplied software CD-ROM.
Before installing, make sure that the printer and the PC are
properly connected with parallel, USB, or network interface. For
information about:
• connecting with the parallel interface, see page 2.11.
• connecting with the USB interface, see page 2.12. For
Windows 98/Me, the USB driver must be installed.
• connecting with a network interface, see page 2.13.
Installing PS Drivers
PostScript Driver is installed when you select Custom and then
Printer(PostScript) while installing the software. For details,
see page 2.19.
If you select Typical while installing the software, you can
install PS Driver as follows:
1 From the Start menu, select Programs, Samsung ML-
2250 Series and then Maintenance.
Or Insert the supplied CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
2 Select Repair.
N OTE : If your machine is not connected to the computer, the
following window will appear.
• After connecting the machine, click Next.
• If you want to skip the connection status, click Next, and No to
the following screen.Then the installation will start and the test
page will not be printed at the end of the installation.
