TROUBLESHOOTING
Before requesting repair or exchange, please try the following:

Is the VS-MAXX™ turned on?
Is the TV, video monitor or VCR turned on?
Is the TV, video monitor or VCR on the A/V
channel?
Do the batteries have enough power?
Are the batteries properly installed?

TV or video monitor screen flickers or no color

Are the A/V plugs connected properly?
Are the A/V plugs connected in the right
location?
Have any of the cables become loose or
disconnected?
Is the TV or video monitor color control set
properly?
Is the TV or video monitor channel fine
adjustment set properly?

No game sound

Are the A/V plugs connected properly?
Are the A/V plugs connected in the right
location?
Have any of the cables become loose or
disconnected?
Is the TV volume too low or muted?

Picture on TV or video monitor is unsteady

Are the A/V plugs connected properly?
Are the A/V plugs connected in the right
location?
Have any of the cables become loose or
disconnected?
Is the TV or video monitor vertical or horizontal
hold control set properly?

Fringes appear on TV or video monitor screen
during game play

Are the A/V plugs connected properly?
Are the A/V plugs connected in the right
location?
Have any of the cables become loose or
disconnected?
Do the batteries have enough power?
Is the TV or video monitor channel fine
adjustment set properly?

TV or video monitor picture is blinking or
distorted

Are the A/V plugs connected properly?

Try pressing the reset button.
Try turning power off and on again (slowly).

No power

Check the power switch.
Try replacing the batteries with new ones
(alkaline only).
