Setups for the player
Some setup adjustments ar e necessar y for the player depending on the
components to be connected.
Use the setup display to change the various settings.
For details on using the setup display , see page 76.
• When you connect an audio component with a built-in DOLBY
DIGIT AL decoder A
Select “DOLBY DIGITAL” under “DIGITAL OUT” in the “AUDIO
SETUP” display and set “DOLBY DIGITAL” to “DOLBY DIGIT
AL.”

• When you connect an audio component with a built-in DTS decoder B
Select “DTS” under “DIGITAL OUT” in the “AUDIO SETUP” display and
set “DTS” to “ON.” (page 93)
Notes
• When you do not connect an audio component with a built-in DOLBY
DIGIT AL
decoder, do not set “DOLBY DIGIT AL” to “DOLBY DIGIT AL.”
• When you do not connect an audio component with a built-in DTS decoder , do
not set “DTS” to “ON.”
