Connecting the Drive
You can connect this drive to a personal computer using the supplied
i.LINK cable.
Notes
• When you connect, disconnect, or turn on or off the i.LINK device, the personal
computer activates bus reset. If bus reset is activated while the personal computer is
reading the data, the data might be damaged or lost. Be sure to quit all software before
connecting or disconnecting this drive.
• Place this drive on a flat surface.

Turn on the personal computer.

Connect the AC power cord to the supplied AC adapter, plug
the AC power cord into an AC outlet, and then plug the cable
of the adapter into the DC IN connector on the drive.
The green POWER indicator of the drive lights up.
