Cleaning or replacing the
air cleaner
!
Do not run the engine without an air cleaner other-
wise this will lead to increased wear on the engine
The air cleaner must be washed out more frequently if the
engine is run in particularly dusty environment.

Do not wash the air cleaner in petrol or a cleaning
solvent with a low flash point.

Filter insert 1: Replace when heavily contaminated.
Otherwise, blow out the insert from the inside with com-
pressed air or knock it on a hard surface. Do not brush
the dirt off or the dirt will get pressed into the fibres.
Do not clean the filter with a soap solution as in this
model it is a oil wet filter.
Checking the hydraulic
system

Carry out a visual inspection. If there is any loss of fluid
from the hydraulic unit, cylinder or hoses, call KÄRCHER
Customer Service.
Clean fuel filter
!
Do not smoke where this work is taking place,
keep away from naked flames and sparks.
n
Drain the fuel out of the tank.
n
Undo the small screws on the fuel tap and draw out the
filter. Wash the filter thoroughly with diesel fuel.
