You can also save a phone number through the Contacts directory as
follows:
1. Select Menu
→
Contacts
→
Add New
→
Phone Number .
2. Enter the phone number up to as many digits as will fit on the screen.
3. Press twice to select Next . Enter the name.
4. Go to Step 3 in “To save a phone number” on page 19.
To enter pauses in a phone number
When you save the phone number of an automated service, such as
voicemail, you may include a pause where you would be required to select
an option or enter a password. For example, you could enter a phone
number, then a pause, then a voicemail extension or calling card number.
A timed pause causes the phone to stop dialing for two seconds. A hard
pause causes the phone to stop dialing until you select Release .
Note: You can enter multiple pauses in a phone number.
