LOADING FILM CONT.

1. Open the front cover to turn the camera on.

• Film can be loaded when the camera is on or off.
• If film is loaded with the camera off, all indicators in the data

panel will disappear after the number of frames remaining is
displayed.

2. Turn the camera upside down and press the film-

chamber release. The film-chamber door will open
partway.

• Before opening the film-chamber, wipe any dirt or moisture off

the camera.

3. Open the film-chamber door and insert the cassette

into the film chamber.

4. Close the film-chamber door.

The camera will display the cartridge mark and the film
speed in the data panel, then advance the film to the first
frame. The frame counter will show the number of frames
remaining on the roll.

• After the film is loaded, pressing the film-chamber release

button will display the exposure number and the film speed in
the data panel.
