Select

Play

in the screen using the joystick, then press

ENTER

to start program playback.

¶ When the mode switch of the joystick remote is

set to the Blue position and

¢ is pressed, the

current track is skipped and the next track in the
program will be played.

¶ Even when a disc is changed during programming,

the program playback plays the disc and track
numbers as registered with the previous disc. In
this case, the programming should be restarted
from the beginning.

Checking the program

Set the mode switch of the joystick remote to the

Purple position and press

¡

CHECK

C

during program

playback.

¶ The program list is displayed on the TV screen.

When a program number is selected by tilting the
joystick up or down and the ENTER button is
pressed, program playback starts from the selected
program number. The contents of the program
numbers are also shown on the player display. (A
program number can also be selected by pressing
the CHECK button to move the cursor in the
program list.)

¶ When 17 or more tracks are programmed, the

program list is displayed in more than one page.
In this case, when the cursor is located on the
bottom edge, tilting the joystick downward makes
it possible to advance to the next page. (When the
cursor is located on the top edge, tilting the cursor
upward makes it possible to return to the previous
page.)

Disc Random Playback

Tracks in a desired disc can be played back in a random
order. (Disc random playback is not available with DVD
VIDEO, MP3 disc.)

1.

Set the mode switch of the joystick remote to the
Orange position.

2.

While the player is in stop mode, press

repeatedly until the player enters the disc random

mode.

Press P.MODE to ALL RANDOM MODE

¶ When the player enters the disc random mode, the

screen as shown in the figure appears and the
"RANDOM" indicator in the display lights to
indicate that the player is in the disc random mode.

Select the disc by tilting the joystick to the left or right,

then press

ENTER

to start disc random playback.

¶ Disc random playback can also be started by

pressing the

3 PLAY button.

Clearing the program

1.

Perform operations in steps 1 and 2 of the procedure in
"Registering and playing the program".·

2.

Move the cursor to

Last Clear

or

All Clear

in the

screen, then press

ENTER

.

¶ Every time "Last Clear" is selected, the last track

in the program list is cleared. (The program can
also be cleared by pressing the C button.)

¶ When "All Clear" is selected, all tracks in the entire

program list are cleared.

Stopping program playback

Perform operations in steps 1 and 2 of the procedure

in "Registering and playing the program", then

press

repeatedly until the player enters normal

play mode (track mode).·

¶ The "PGM" indicator turns off
