1. Intended Use
This desk lamp is meant to be used in
dry areas and indoors.
It is not intended for external use, or
for commercial or industrial applications.

Important for your safety!
To avoid the risk of fire or injuries:
•
Never touch the desk lamp or the
lamp shade while it is switched
on. Make sure that the desk lamp is
switched off and has cooled down,
before you touch it.
•
While setting up the desk lamp, make
sure that it is at a minimum distance
of 0.5 meters from illuminated objects.
•
Never cover the lamp shade, and
allow air to circulate freely around
and inside the desk lamp.
•
Always place the desk lamp on an
even base. Otherwise, it might tip
over and cause fire.
•
Never leave the desk lamp unsuper-
vised when in operation.
To avoid life-threatening electric
shock:
•
Plug in the desk lamp only to a 50 Hz
power socket with a mains voltage of
230 V ~.
•
Do not bend or squeeze the power
cord.
•
To disconnect, always pull out the
plug at the power socket, do not
pull at the power cord.
•
Never use the desk lamp in proximity
of water or in damp cellar areas.
Protect the desk lamp from moisture
and dirt.
•
Before cleaning, or if there is a power
supply fault, pull the plug out of the
power socket.
•
If the power cord is damaged, have
it repaired by a qualified technician,
before you use the desk lamp again.
