Click “Password”. The page shown in Figure 8-34 appears.

Select the new link station, enter the password you configured during the first validation process
and click the “Continue” button. “Verifying password...” will display, and then “Password verified”
will display within 1 minute.

This is the completion of the Validation procedure of a callsign for a link station. Re-start the
EchoLink software.

Your link station callsign will be displayed at the top of the screen in the Title bar and stations
connected to EchoLink are shown. The software will already be connected as a link station. Next,
select “Sysop Settings” from the Tools pulldown menu and open the Sysop Setup window. Click
the RX Ctrl tab.
