• Position the base plate with the ribbed side facing out.
• Fit the narrow end of the base plate under the steering linkage

and into the slot in the front end.

• Fit another #8 x

" screw through the hole shown in the front end

and into the vehicle. Tighten the screw.

Hint: You may need to adjust the front end to align the holes.

• Grasp the bar on the front end and pull it out and up to properly
position the front end.

• Now, fit eight more #8 x

" screws into the remaining holes in the

front end and tighten them.

Hint: You will need to turn each wheel (one at a time) to fit all of
the screws.

plate. Tighten the screws.
