mc3 Device

Problem

Cause

Solution

The mc3 device is in
“sleep” mode.

To conserve battery
power, the device goes
into sleep mode if not
used for an extended
time. If the device still
senses no activity, it shuts
down.

Press the Menu button to
awaken the device. If the
device has shut off, press
the Power button to turn
it back on.

The Power LED flashes.

Battery power is too low
for the mc3 device to
function.

Replace or recharge the
batteries. See “Loading
the Batteries” on page 2.

A Battery icon appears on
the LCD.

Battery power is low.

The mc3 device may still
be used until the
batteries are exhausted.
Keep a fresh set of
batteries (or a KODAK-
specified battery
charger) on hand.

When taking or deleting
pictures, the number of
pictures remaining
occasionally skips a
number, or the number
does not change.

Image file sizes vary,
depending on the content
of the picture.

This is normal.
