mc3 Device

Problem

Cause

Solution

Cannot take a picture or
video.

No Picture Card is
installed.

Install a Picture Card. See
“Inserting a Picture
Card” on page 3.

Picture Card is full.

Either replace the Picture
Card or delete pictures
or videos from the card.

The mc3 device is writing
to the Picture Card.

Wait until the device is
finished.

During Review mode, an
“Unrecognized File
Format” message
appears.

Pictures from a KODAK
or other digital camera
may be on the Picture
Card.

The device displays only
those file formats that it
recognizes.

A video clip skips during
playback on mc3 device.

Over time, a Picture Card
may become fragmented.

Transfer desired music,
video, and picture files to
a computer. Then,
reformat the Picture
Card. (See page 12.)

The LCD is hard to read. There is insufficient light. Sufficient light is needed

for reflective LCD.

An e-mailed Video File
cannot be read by
recipient.

mc3 device videos are
saved in MOV file format.
Recipient must have
APPLE QUICKTIME.
