- Enter the code of the country/area
whose standards were used to rate
the DVD video disc, based on the list
in the “REFERENCE” chapter.
(Refer to p.62)

Press the MENU button twice and then use the D D / E E button to select
LOCK .
Press the G G button and then use D D / E E button to select Area Code .
Press the G G button.
To access the Area Code , you must input the 4-digit password you created. If
you have not yet entered a password you are prompted to do so.
Input a 4-digit password and press
OK button. Enter it again and press OK button
to verify. If you make a mistake before pressing OK button, press CLEAR button.
Select the first character using D / E button and press ENTER button.
Select the second character using D / E button and press ENTER button to
confirm your country code selection.
Press the EXIT button to exit the menu.

- You can enter or change password. Press the MENU button twice and then use the D D / E E button to select
LOCK .
Press the G G button and then use D D / E E button to select Password .
Press the G G and ENTER button.
In case of “New”
Input a 4-digit password and press OK button. Enter it again and press OK button to
verify. If you make a mistake before pressing OK button, press CLEAR button.
In case of “Change”
1. Input the 4-digit password you created.
2. Input the new 4-digit password and press OK button. Enter it again and press OK but-
ton to verify. If you make a mistake before pressing OK button, press CLEAR button.
Press the EXIT button to exit the menu.
If you forget your Password
If you forget your password you can clear it using the following steps:
1. Press the MENU button twice to display the DVD menu.
2. Input the 6-digit number “210499” and the password is cleared.
3. Enter a new password as described above.
