Slow Motion

Press II PAUSE/STEP button on the remote control during playback.
The DVD player will now go into PAUSE mode.
Use the F FF F SCAN or G GG G SCAN button to select the required speed: F F I 1/16, F F I
1/8, F F I 1/4, or F F I 1/2 (backward), or I G G 1/16, I G G 1/8, I G G 1/4, or I G G 1/2 (forward).
With a DivX Disc and Video CD, the Slow speed changes: I G G 1/16, I G G 1/8, I G G 1/4
or I G G 1/2 (forward).
To exit Slow Motion mode, press G G PLAY button.

Note
a. There is no sound during fast or slow playback for DVDs or Video
CDs.
b. Slow motion playback in reverse is not possible with Video CDs and
DivX Discs.
Moving to another CHAPTER/TRACK
1 When a title on a disc has more than one chapter or a disc has more than one
track, you can move to another chapter/track as follows:
• Press I F FF F SKIP or G GG G I SKIP button briefly during playback to select the next
chapter/track or to return to the beginning of the current chapter/track.
• Press I F FF F SKIP button twice briefly to step back to the previous chapter/track.
• To go directly to any chapter during DVD playback, press DISPLAY button and
press D D / E E to select the chapter/track icon. Then, input the chapter/track num-
ber or use F F / G G .

Repeat Playback

- You can play a specific title, chapter or track repeatedly.
Press the G G I F F REPEAT button during playback.
Each time you press the G G I F F REPEAT button, the repeat mode changes as fol-
lows.
• DVD Video Discs : Chapter → → Title → → Off
• Video CDs, DivX discs : Track → → All → → Off

Note
a. On a Video CD with PBC, you must set PBC to Off on the DVD menu
to use the repeat function.
b. If you press G GG G I SKIP button once during Repeat Chapter (Track) playback,
the repeat playback cancels.
