To
install
an
adapter,
complete
the
following
steps.

Install
the
adapter
in
the
expansion
slot.
a.
If
the
adapter
is
a
full-length
adapter
for
the
upper
expansion
slot
(1
or
3)
in
the
riser
card,
remove
the
full-length-adapter
bracket
1
from
underneath
the
top
of
the
riser-card
assembly
and
insert
it
in
the
two
openings
2
in
the
end
of
the
upper
expansion
slot
of
the
riser-card
assembly.
b.
Press
the
bracket
tab
3
and
slide
the
bracket
to
the
right
until
it
clicks
into
place.
c.
Align
the
adapter
with
the
PCI
connector
on
the
riser
card
and
the
guide
on
the
external
end
of
the
riser-card
assembly.
d.
Press
the
adapter
firmly
into
the
PCI
connector
on
the
riser
card.
