TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM

I cannot hear a Dial Tone.

Make sure all connections are correct and firmly in place.

Make sure you have pressed the Headset Button

and the

In-Use Indicator and On Line Indicator Lights are on.

Adjust Listen Volume Control.

Ensure that Headset is centered on your ear.

PROBLEM

Caller cannot hear my voice.

Make sure the Mute Button

is turned off with the Mute Indicator

Light off.

Adjust Headset so the microphone is closer to your mouth.

also be used with most office telephone systems to transfer a call to another
extension. Press the

button to hear a dial tone, and then enter the extension

number. After the extension rings, press the

button again or hang up to transfer

the call.

MUTE

When you activate the

Button , the caller cannot hear your voice but you will still

be able to hear the caller.

TONE

The treble and bass quality of the incoming call can be adjusted by moving the Tone
Control between the

button.

UPGRADE YOUR HEADSET

The Headset Select Switch allows you to upgrade from the DuoSet

®

headset initially

supplied with the T10. The unit should be supplied with the switch in the S position
which is the correct position for the supplied headset.

If you wish to upgrade to one of the Plantronics range of all day comfort headsets
such as DuoPro™ or Encore

®

, purchase the new headset from your Plantronics dealer,

and follow the instructions below to install the new headset.

1.

Disconnect the T10 from the telephone line at the wall socket.

2.

Turn the T10 over and remove the headset from the Headset Socket (

).

3.

Insert new headset into the Headset Socket (

10

).

4.

Move the Headset Select Switch to the H position (

).

5.

Reconnect the T10 to the telephone line at the wall socket.
