Inserting the Battery
[Preparation]
• Set the power switch to [OFF].

Rotate the lever towards the [OPEN]
direction to open the battery door.

Insert the battery all the way in, until
it is locked.
3
Close the battery door and rotate
the lever towards the [CLOSE]
direction.
[Removing the battery]

Rotate the lever towards the [OPEN]
direction to open the battery door.

Press the lock in the direction of the
arrow to remove the battery.

Close the battery door and rotate
the lever towards the [CLOSE]
direction.
• If you will not use the camera for a long
time, remove the battery. (When you
insert the battery again, set the date)
• Before removing the battery from the
camera, set the power switch to [OFF].
• The supplied battery is for exclusive use
with this camera. Do not use it except
with this camera.
CAUTION
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly
replaced. Replace only with the same or
equivalent type recommended by the
manufacturer. Dispose of used batteries
according to the manufacturer’s
instructions.
