• You cannot operate trimming on pictures recorded with other equipments.
• Motion images or TIFF pictures cannot be trimmed and enlarged.
• Trimming is not possible for pictures with audio or pictures with a size of [640
a
480] pixels.
Formatting the Card
Usually, it is not necessary to format the
card (initializing). Format the card when
this message is displayed “MEMORY
CARD ERROR”.

• Set the operational mode dial to playback

Press the [MENU] button.

Press 3/4 to select [FORMAT] and
then press 1.

When this message is displayed
“DELETE ALL DATA ON THE
MEMORY CARD?”, press 3/4 to
select [YES].

Press the [REVIEW/SET] button.
• The card is formatted.
• After formatting, recorded images
and any other data cannot be
recovered.
• During formatting, do not turn the power
off.
• When the card is formatted by PC or
other equipments, format the card on the
camera again.
• If the card cannot be formatted, consult
the dealer.
