CAUTION :
If water or similar substances get inside the monitor via the liquid crystal panel surface, a malfunction may result.

Do not wipe the LCD with water
Clean the L CD using a dry soft cloth such as gauze. If the LCD is heavily soiled,
apply OA cleaner for LCD panels to the cloth and wipe off gently. Do not use keton
chemicals such as acetone, solvents such as xylen or toluene, or water.

Wipe the cabinet with a soft cloth
If the cabinet is heavily soiled, wipe with a well-wrung soft cloth dipped in kitchen
cleanser (neutral) diluted with water.

Checks

Subtitles appear only with discs which contain them.

An alternative language is not selected with discs which do not contain

more than one language.

In the case of some discs, the alternative language cannot be selected.

Try selecting it from the DVD menu if one is available.

This function is dependent on software availability. Even if a disc has a

number of angles recorded, these angles may be recorded for specific
scenes only.

Confirm the “2 Ratings” setting.

If the audio soundtrack and/or subtitle language does not exist on the

disc, the language selected at the initial settings will not be seen/heard.

The setup “3 Menus” of “1 Disc Languages ” is set to French: select

English.

Choose the setting at “8 Speaker Setting” which matches our speaker system.

No surround sound is output when the virtual surround effect is activated

(“VSS 1”, “VSS 2”, “Headphone VSS 1” or “Headphone VSS 2”). Select
“VSS OFF” or “Headphone VSS OFF”.
