Port Indications

The status of each port is monitored by a bi-color LED indicator (green and
orange). Green indicates that the PD has been identified as "Power over LAN
enabled", is active and is receiving power.

Orange indicates that the port is not supplying power and is not active. Refer
to Table 2-2 for additional information.

In the event that an Ethernet device that is not Power over LAN enabled is
connected to the Power over LAN Midspan (indicator is orange or off), the
Ethernet device will be unaffected due to the fact that power is not being
supplied.
