QUICKSTART: Press QUICKSTART to start your workout
immediately using the Manual Program. Refer to Choosing
QUICKSTART
.

RESISTANCE: Press and hold the RESISTANCE arrow keys to
increase or decrease the force applied against your stride from
1 to 20.

When you press the arrow keys, a target resistance appears in
the display, but the change you feel in the pedal resistance
occurs gradually so the transition is smooth.

PAUSE/RESET: Press this key to end the workout session and
view your workout summary. An exception to this rule exists if
you have entered the 30-second shutdown period. When you
press PAUSE/RESET, the display returns to the banner. Refer
to Pausing During a Workout or the Cool-Down Period.

Right selection key: Every time you press this key, the display
reflects either the distance travelled since your began your
exercise session, your strides per minute, or your cumulative
strides. An LED lights and indicates which information is being
displayed.

Navigational Keypad

The navigational keypad provides several ways to change your
exercise session and to display various workout statistics. The OK key,
which allows you to confirm display selections, is also part of the
navigational keypad.

OK: Use the OK key to confirm responses to specific prompts.

Up and Down Arrows: These up and down arrows present the
available selections and affect what appears on the display.

OPTIONS: The OPTIONS key is a multi-functional key. It lets you
customize the display and set exercise session goals: time, calories, or
distance. You can set your preferences prior to selecting a program or
after you are already engaged in exercising. Refer to Setting Display

BACK: When the BACK key is pressed it causes the display to return
to the previous menu level.
