2.12 Date and time

Date and time can be set using either the
handset or the base unit.

2.12.1 Using the handset

Make sure the base unit and the handset are
not being used.

Press {CONF/FUNCTION}.

Scroll to “Date and time” by pressing {v}
or {e}.

Press {>}.

The cursor (

) will appear on the display.

Enter the 4-digit year, and 2 digits each for
the month and day (8 digits in all).
Example: 2003 August 10
Press {2}{0}{0}{3}, then {0}{8} {1}{0}.

Enter the current 4-digit hour/minute. Press
{*}

to select “AM” or “PM”.

Example: 10:15 PM (12 hour clock entry)

1. Press {1}{0}{1}{5}.

2. Press {*} repeatedly to display “PM”.

Press the right soft key ({SAVE}).

If 3 beeps sound, the setting is not
correct. Start again from step 4.

Press {OFF} to exit the program.

To check the date and time
Repeat steps 1 to 3.

The date and time will be displayed. When
finished, press {OFF}.

Press {MENU}.

PRESS NAVI.[( )]

Press {<} or {>} repeatedly to display the
following.

SET DATE & TIME

PRESS SET

Press {SET}.

Enter 2 digits each for month, day and year.
Example: August 10, 2003
Press {0}{8} {1}{0} {0}{3}.
