Customizing the Computer
If you want information on the various individual settings of the computer, tap [Start] -
[Settings] - [Control Panel] and then double-tap the item (icon) you want to check.
(For more details about each item, you can also refer to the help file by tapping [Start] -
[Help] - [Settings] or tapping [?] at the top of each Properties window.)
Backlight
LCD brightness adjustment, LCD backlight timeout function setting,
and tap-induced backlight on setting
Buttons
Assignment of programs for the program buttons
Communications
Device name setting (specified name for computers connected to the
computer to identify the computer) and PC connection method
Date/Time
Date/time setting and time zone setting
Dialing
Dial-up method for establishing a dial-up connection
Display
Desktop display (background image and color) setting
Input Panel
Input panel (software keyboard) setting
Keyboard
Adjustable time setting between the waiting time until the repetition of
an input begins, and the repeat of the input (

Information input for discriminating the computer on a network, such
as a network adapter installed in the computer
Owner
Registration (or changing) of the user’s (owner’s) personal information
You can choose to display the registered owner information on the screen
when the computer is turned on.
