12) Does the DP-L10 support the roaming between GSM and WiFi
network?
•
No roaming between GSM and Wi-Fi is supported during the call. If
the network connection (GSM or WiFi) is lost when a call is running,
the call will be interrupted and you need to restart it; the phone auto-
matically will choose the network still available if GSM preferred or
WiFi preferred settings have been selected in network profile.
13) How can the user understand if he/she is using VoIP or GSM
Network?
•
The phone displays two (2) different bars – GSM (G) on the left side of
the display and Wi-Fi (W) on the right. When the User is calling by
GSM after having dialed the number the only GSM bar will appear oth-
erwise only the wireless bar
14) How can the user understand if he/she is connected to the Access
Point
•
On the phone display check the WiFi bar on the right. See Configura-
tion troubleshooting for more details.
15) How can the user understand if he/she is registered to a VoIP SIP
proxy server
•
On the phone display ‘VoIP’ will appear. See Configuration trouble-
shooting for more details.
16) In a public Hot spot the phone is not able to acquire a Wi-Fi account
or be VoIP registered?
•
It is possible that a public hot spot user acceptance page is required or
that the HOT SPOT ISP is not able to support SIP ALG for NAPT
traversal purposes.
