Make sure the SCSI ID No. of the scanner is 2 and that of the
printer is 1. (They are the default settings.)

If you have other devices connected to the computer, make sure that each
SCSI device has a different ID No.

To change an ID No., use ID No. switches (#1, #2, #3) located on the back
of the units. Also refer to Table 1 on
Make sure the terminator switch (#4) of the scanner is set to OFF
and that of the printer is set to ON. (They are the default settings.)

If you have other devices connected to the computer, make sure the
terminator switches of all those devices are set to OFF.

To change the terminator setting, use the terminator switch (#4) located on
the back of the units.
Connect the power cords to the scanner’s AC inlet, to the
printer’s AC inlet and to AC outlets.
