1. When finished cooking, turn

temperature control to MIN and
unplug from outlet and from skillet.

2. Let skillet cool completely.

3. Clean with hot, soapy water, using a

plastic or nylon scouring pad. Rinse
then dry.

Do not use metal scouring pads or
abrasive cleansers. This will damage
the nonstick coating.

4. If necessary, wipe the temperature

control and cord with a damp cloth
then wipe dry.

Quick Beef with Macaroni

1 pound lean ground beef
1 envelope dry onion soup mix

Preheat skillet to 350°F. Spray skillet with vegetable cooking spray. Place ground beef
and onion soup mix into the skillet. Cook and stir until beef is no longer pink. Stir in
tomatoes and macaroni; mix well. Cover with vent closed. Reduce heat to simmer and
continue cooking until macaroni is tender, about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally. Makes
4 servings.

Hearty Beef & Rice Supper

1 (6.7-ounce) package

beef-flavored rice mix

2 tablespoons butter

pound lean ground beef

Preheat skillet to 325°F. Place butter into skillet to melt. Add dry rice/vermicelli from
package into skillet and sauté until vermicelli is golden brown, about 3 minutes. Add
ground beef and celery. Cook, stirring constantly until beef is no longer pink. Reduce
heat to 275°F. Add water and seasoning packet from rice package. Stir until well
mixed. Cover, with vent open, and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove cover and stir.
Sprinkle cheese over the entire mixture and continue cooking until cheese has melted,
about 1 minute. Makes 4 servings.
