to redial

the number automatically. You will hear a ring-back tone when
the call is successful.

Emergency Calling

Nextel phones fully support emergency calling. To place a call in an
emergency, dial 9 11 S. You will be connected to the
nearest emergency dispatch center. If you are on an active call, you must
end it before calling 911.

Special Dialing Codes

Nextel supports “non-emergency” numbers (such as #77, 311, ...)
provided by local and state governments. These numbers are used to
report traffic accidents, motorist problems, careless drivers or any other
non-emergency incidents. If the situation includes imminent danger or
loss of life, you should dial 911. Nextel does not yet support all local
and state non-emergency numbers but is continuously expanding
support.

Placing International Phone Calls

Nextel Worldwide Service allows for International Roaming of your
Nextel phone to other iDEN networks. When dialing internationally,
you can either enter the international access code (011 in the United
States) directly or use “Plus Dialing”.

NOTE: Your

phone’s default is “International Calls Restricted.”

Therefore, you must call Customer Care at 1-800-639-6111
to obtain international dialing access.

Allows you to call any one of your first eight phone list entries
by pressing and holding the corresponding numeric key (1-8).

Press S to redial the last number you called.
