Blink Warning

Choose whether or not blinking eyes are detected when using face detection
(

A 24) in the following shooting modes.

G (easy auto) mode
• Portrait (A 36) and Night portrait (A 37) scene modes

Operating the Did someone blink? Screen

The following operations are available while the

someone blink? screen is displayed.
If no operations are performed for a few seconds, the
screen automatically returns to the shooting mode
screen.

When the camera detects that one or more human subjects have closed their eyes
shortly after recognizing the faces and shooting them, the

Did someone blink?

screen will appear on the monitor. The face of the human subject that may have
closed his/her eyes is framed by a yellow border. In such a case, you can check the
shot picture and determine if you take the picture again.
