Introduction

NEC Corporatio n o f America, “NECAM”, o ffers a breadth o f
service optio ns for its hard ware and so ft ware solutions,
including NECCare Warranty programs. This document will
focus o n NECAM’s NECCare Standard Warranty Program for
the Express5800/A1160 Enterprise Server.

Program Highlights

Maintenance and Service Warranty Program o ffers yo u the
follo wing b enefits:

3 Years o f Standard Warranty co verage

Toll-free hard ware technical support, 5 days a week, 8am-
5p m (Local time) in the continental US and Canad a.

Next B usiness Day On-site Rep air Support

A Certified Service Technician will be o n-site o n the
Next B usiness Day for repair support once a service
call is deemed necessary follo wing tro uble-shooting
efforts b etween the Custo mer and NECAM

Replacement parts will also arrive on the Next
Business Day after problem diagnosis. Custo mer
must be able to sign and receive p arts as req uested
b y NEC to meet Next Day support.

Supplemental Professional Services

NECCare Services are designed to red uce risks and protect
yo ur IT investment with the NEC Express5800/A11 60
Enterprise Server thro ugh warranty and maintenance,
imp lementatio n/installation and relocatio n services.

INST ALL AT ION SERVICE

NEC installatio n services are req uired when
imp lementing an NEC Express5800/A1160 Enterprise
Server. Installatio n services are fee-based and will be
cond ucted b y an NEC Engineer and or a Certified NEC
Service Provider.

NECAM will use commercially reasonable best efforts to provide Next Business Day On-site service provided calls

for support are received by 3:00pm, PST.

Service Levels are response time objective and are NOT Guarantees. NECAM is not

responsible for service calls missed outside the control of NECAM. If your location is outside of a NECAM authorized service
coverage area, the response time may be longer and/or an additional travel charge may be assessed. In some cases, on-site service
may not be available. All service response times are contingent upon parts availability.
