Canceling out minor camera shake, VR Normal
stops small hand movements from ruining
the shot, lets you shoot without blurring in low
light, keeps subjects clear when panning and
also lets you take advantage of slower shutter
speeds.
VR Active
When you can’t fi nd a steady place to shoot
from, it’s time to opt for VR Active. Providing
high-level compensation for shaky conditions,

Advanced Scene modes
Providing a choice of three effects that vary brightness, color
intensity, sharpness, noise reduction and more, Advanced Scene

D-Lighting
Improve underexposed images or shots taken with too
much backlight. Nikon’s unique D-Lighting function
automatically creates a copy with added light and
detail wherever necessary and well-exposed areas left

Face-priority AF

is in the shot. Face-priority AF* automatically fi nds, then

Nikon wireless image transfer
The COOLPIX P3 also offers exciting Wi-Fi
