Maintenance, replacement, or repair of the emission control device and systems may be performed by any
non-road engine repair establishment or individual.

• Always be sure to stop the engine before inspecting the stick edger for problems or performing

maintenance.

• Never alter the stick edger or take the engine apart.
• When replacing parts, always be sure to use only RedMax products or products which have been

certified by RedMax for use with the RedMax stick edger.
