To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or other devices, always turn down the volume, and turn off the power on all devices before making any

connections.

Either momentary or latch type footswitch pedals can be used with this unit.

However, be sure to connect only a momentary-type footswitch such as the BOSS FS-5U to the TAP/REC/PLAY/DUB jack. A latch-type

footswitch pedal may fail to operate correctly.

*

The footswitch pedal is available separately.

*

The BOSS FS-6 can operate as either a momentary or latch-type pedal switch.

Momentary type: This type remains on (or off) while depressed and switches off (or on) when released. BOSS FS-5U, etc.

Latch type:

This type switches on or off each time it is depressed. BOSS FS-5L, etc.

*

This unit is equipped with a TRS-type FOOT SW jack that accepts plugs of the configuration shown in the figure. To connect

a footswitch pedal, use a TRS-compatible cable such as the optionally available PCS-31.
