Additional Convenient Functionality <Advanced Operation>

“Visual Control” is a function that allows music and images to be performed together. When MIDI Visual Control- or V-LINK
compatible devices are connected via MIDI, you’ll be able to easily switch clips are linked to the expressive elements of your
performance.

Turning Visual Control on/off

1.

Connect the C-200’s MIDI Out socket to the MIDI In
socket of your optional MIDI Visual Control/V-LINK
video device.

2.

While holding down the [Function] piston, press the
[REC/Visual Control] piston switch on the Visual
Control function.

3.

To turn Visual Control off, once again hold down
[Function] and press the [REC/Visual Control] piston.

Selecting clips on an optional MIDI Visual

Control/V-LINK-compatible device

Visual Control messages are transmitted on MIDI chan-
nel “16”.

1.

Press a key in the highest octave (G#6~G7) to select the
desired clips on the external optional MIDI Visual
Control/V-LINK-compatible device.

When the Visual Control Function is active, the G#6~G7
keys are temporarily unavailable for playing notes.

Visual Control messages are transmitted on MIDI chan-
nel “16”.
