Camera head can get HOT! Turn
OFF camera while not in use.
Equipment Safety
• Before using, test the Ground Fault Circuit Inter-
rupter (GFCI) provided with the power cord to
ensure it is operating correctly. The GFCI reduces
the risk of electrical shock.
• Extension cords are not recommended unless they
are plugged into a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter
(GFCI) found in circuit boxes or receptacles. The
GFCI on the Monitor
+ VCR will not prevent electrical
shock from the extension cords.
• Do not operate the system with electrical compo-
nents removed. Exposure to internal parts increases
the risk of injury.
• Do not use the Monitor + VCR as a chair or table.
This can result in damage to the unit, which increases
the risk of electrical shock.
• The Monitor + VCR unit is NOT water-resistant and
should not be exposed to rain or moisture. Only
the camera head and cable are waterproof. Water
entering the housings will increase the risk of electri-
cal shock.
• A minimum of 3
″
(80mm) clearance from all sides
and top surface is required during operation.
• Do not power up with the cover closed.
