Note on Recording under Fluorescent
Lighting

If the picture on the monitor flickers when
recording under fluorescent lighting, you may be
able to compensate by changing the shutter
speed to 1/100 sec.

Notes:

• Using a fast shutter speed under fluorescent lighting

will cause flickering in the picture and possibly
periodic color shifts.

• Recording with a shutter speed higher than 1/60 sec.

(standard) tends to darken the picture. Record in bright
locations when you use a high shutter speed.

• If the Scene Menu is set after setting the shutter

speed, the shutter speed will automatically return to
“NORMAL” (1/60).
