RESET Button Press to return all video settings (color, tint, contrast,
brightness, and sharpness) back to the original settings.

Number Buttons (0-9) Press to access any channel number. To select a
channel, press two number buttons. For example, press 0 then 6 for channel
6. To select a 3-digit number, press and hold number button 1 until 1– –
appears on the screen. Then press the other two numbers.

SKIP (Commercial Skip) Allows you to look at other channels during
commercials using the CHANNEL buttons. Each press adds 30 seconds. The
TV switches back to original channel when time counter reaches 0:00.

VCR Transport Buttons

The buttons described in this section operate most RCA VCRs. Remember,
you must first press the VCR button in order for these transport buttons to
work.

REW (Rewind) Rewinds a tape. Searches backward when tape is playing.

PLAY Plays tape or laserdisc.

FF (Fast Forward) Fast forwards a tape. Searches forward while tape is
playing.

REC (Record) Starts recording onto tape.

STOP Stops tape.

PAUSE Pauses tape.SPEED (Tape Speed) Selects a recording speed either:
SLP, SP, or LP.

TRACK Button (– or +) (Tracking down and up) Lets you manually reduce
the streaks that may appear in the picture during playback.

F.ADV Button (Frame Advance) Fast forwards the tape through a
commercial when a tape is playing. Advances the tape one video frame at a
time when the tape is in PAUSE mode.

GETTING STARTED

TIP

Your TV is equipped with an audio/
video input. To tune to the audio/
video input, press “0, then 0” (zero
button twice) on the remote. The
audio/video input can also be
added to the channel scan list and
accessed by the channel up and
down buttons.
